Frieda P Bobeck

Frieda was born on January 23rd, 1930. Frieda's father was Stephen Sommer and her mother was Hermina Sommer. Her paternal grandparents were Stephen Sommer and Rosina Frisch. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Joseph, Steven, Elsie, Rose, Maryann and Hermina. She died at the age of 79 on January 23rd, 2009. The funeral took place on January 26th, 2009 in Arthur J. Frey Funeral Home.

- Frieda P. Bobeck, 79, of Greentown, Pike County, formerly of Whitehall, died Jan. 23, 2009, in Brighten at Julia Ribaudo, Lake Ariel. Born in Stiles, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Hemina (Sommer) Sommer. She had worked in the garment industry in Lehigh County for more than 20 years, retiring in 1993. Survivors: Two daughters, Judith Williams of Greentown, Linda Maritch of Wescosville; four grandchildren; two brothers, Joseph Sommer of Easton, Stephen Sommer Jr. of Beltzville; three sisters, Rose Kroboth and Maryann Knopp, both of Whitehall, Elsie Schugardt of Allentown. Services: Private, Monday, Jan. 26, 2009, Arthur J. Frey Funeral Home, Route 191, Village of LaAnna, South Sterling, with Rev. Fr. Iru Alluiri officiating.
