Ana Maria was born on September 20th, 1969.  Ana Maria's father is Joaquim Custódio Rodrigues Monteiro and her mother was Maria do Carmo Lima Prado.  Her maternal grandparents were António  Fernandes  Prado  and Beatriz da Silva Lima. She had three brothers and a sister, named Joaquim Alberto, José Joaquim, Fernando Joaquim and Maria de Fátima.  She is the youngest of the five children.
