Haviva was born on September 8th, 1961 in Jerusalem. Haviva's father was Eli Dodi and her mother is Drora Dodi (Kestenbaum). Her maternal grandfather was Avraham Aharon Kestenbaum and her maternal grandmother is Lea Haya Kestenbaum. She has three brothers named Avraham Aharon, Boaz and Gidon.
