Friederich and Elsa were married. They had a biological son and two biological daughters, named Paul, Anna and Erna. They also had an adopted son named Max.

  Paul was born on August 18th, 1904 in Born in Ragnit, near Tilsit. He died due to natural causes or old age at the age of 79 on June 2nd, 1984.
  - Death Notes
    
    Died of a heart attack in Paddock, South Africa. He always wanted to "die with his boots on." Two days prior to his death he slaughtered a pig. At the time of his death he was waiting for the cows to come in for milking. He always attend to the milking. Klara was with him in the cowshed. At his memorial service he was referred to as "one of God's gentlemen."
  Erna Dorothea Basel
  Erna was born on July 24th, 1914. She died at the age of 83 on March 24th, 1998.
