Anna was born on March 8th, 1916.  Anna's father was Abraham Izak Perold and her mother was Magdalena Katharina Greef.  Her maternal grandparents were H C Greef and Cicilia Christina Burger. She had a brother and a sister, named Abraham and Matty.  She was the second oldest of the three children.
