Barend Andries Liebenberg

Barend was born on March 1st, 1801. Barend's father was Christiaan Liebenberg and his mother was Maria Magdalena Burger. His paternal grandparents were Christiaan Liebenberg and Anna Maria Opperman. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Christiaan, Christiaan, Willem, Jacobus, Frederick, Andries, Maria, Anna and Helena. He was the eighth oldest of the ten children.
