Carlo was born on October 26th, 1905.  Carlo's father was Serafino Fornara and his mother was Teresa "Gena" Gaudenzi.  His paternal grandparents were Carlo Fornara and Elisabetta Aghina.  He was the third of four children.  He had a brother and two sisters, named Enrico, Rosa and Elisabetta.  He died at the age of 95 on August 24th, 2001.
