Harry's father was Thomas WHITCROFT and his mother was Sarah Ann <UNKNOWN>. He had a brother and two sisters, named Samuel, Ann and Elizabeth.  He was the youngest of the four children.  He died at the age of 48 in 1918 in Bedworth, Warwickshire.¹
