Sarah was born on August 11th, 1866 in Union Workhouse, Welcome Street, Atherstone, Warwickshire.1  Sarah's father was Henry BROWN and her mother was Eliza ROBINSON.  Her paternal grandparents were John BROWN and Fanny <UNKNOWN>; her maternal grandparents were William ROBINSON and Elizabeth JEPHCOTE. She had three brothers and a sister, named James, Henry, John and Hannah.  She was the oldest of the five children.  She died at the age of 52 on February 20th, 1919 in Sculcoates, Kingston-Upon-Hull, Yorkshire.  She was buried on February 24th, 1919 in East Riding, Yorkshire.2 2
