Thomas was born in 1803 in Mancetter, Warwickshire and his baptism took place there on August 14th, 1803.¹   Thomas' father was Joseph LAWRANCE and his mother was Catherine <UNKNOWN>. He had a brother and a sister, named William and Elizabeth.  He was the oldest of the three children.
