David was born on September 17th, 1921 in Dover, Kent.1  David's father was Charles King GAYLARD and his mother was Lilian Amy WRAIGHT. He had four brothers named Bernard, Edward, Derrick and Harold.  Bernard and David were twins.  He died at 4 months old on February 2nd, 1922 in Dover, Kent.  He was buried in 1922 in St.Andrews Churchyard, Buckland, Dover, Kent.1 1
