George was born on June 2nd, 1891 in Stockingford, Nuneaton, Warwickshire.1   George's father was Thomas BONE and his mother was Hannah MELLORS. He had four brothers named Thomas, Andrew, Arthur and Joseph.  He was the oldest of the five sons.  He died at the age of 63 on March 17th, 1955 in Stockingford, Nuneaton, Warwickshire.1
