Eliza Anne

Eliza was born in November 1824.  Eliza's father was John Belcher and her mother was Mary Anne Leigh.  Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Belcher and Ann Swallow; her maternal grandparents were John Leigh and Sarah Robinson. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Samuel, John , Thomas, George, Charles, Anne, Sarah, Mary and Mary.  She was the fifth oldest of the ten children.
