George Hocking Vingoe 
George was born on March 7th, 1855 in Church Town, St.Just, Cornwall. George's father was Israel Vingoe and his mother was Mary Hocking. His paternal grandparents were Israel Vingoe and Jennifer Clemence. He had a brother named Nicholas. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 55 on July 2nd, 1910 in Bendigo, Victoria, Australia.General Notes
George came to Workington from St. Just-in-Pennith, Cornwall. Left his family there. Then left his family in Cumbria, to go to Australia to mine gold.
