Параскевия was born on October 19th, 1889.  Параскевия's father was Яков Александров Роговый and her mother was Анна Евдокимова (Рогова).  Her paternal grandparents were Александр Иванов Роговый and Анна Исаакова (Рогова). She had four brothers and four sisters, named Григорий, Димитрий, Петр, Афанасий, Анастасия, Матрона, Мария and Параскевия.  She was the oldest of the nine children.
