Тарасий was born in 1830.  Тарасий's father was Кирила Михаилов Писоцкий and his mother was Марфа (Песоцкая).  His paternal grandparents were Михаил Иоаннов Песоцкий and Пелагия Евфимиева (Песоцкая). He had two brothers and a sister, named Сильвестр, Антон and Дария.  He was the youngest of the four children.  He died at the age of 36 on June 6th, 1866.
