Василий was born in 1812.  Василий's father was Никита Феодоров Хрущ and his mother was Пелагия Семенова (Хрущ).  His paternal grandparents were Феодор Ияковлев Хрущ and Наталия Демиянова (Хрущ). He had two brothers and a sister, named Яков, Григорий and Параскева.  He was the youngest of the four children.  He died at the age of 76 on February 5th, 1888.
