Vaclav's father was Joseph Castoral and his mother was Marie Jirinec (Castoral).  He was the youngest of six children.  He had three brothers and two sisters, named William, Louis, Frank, Mary and Lutonic.

Vaclav and Marie were married in a religious ceremony on August 25th, 1906 in Manhattan New York.1 They had no children.
