Emily was born in year 1911 in Manhattan New York.  Emily's father was Louis Castoral and her mother was Bertha Oleha (Castoral).  Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Castoral and Marie Jirinec (Castoral); her.  She is the fourth of six children.  She had five sisters named Bertha, Antonia, Helen, Louise and Rose.
