Helen was born in year 1909 in Manhattan New York.  Helen's father was Louis Castoral and her mother was Bertha Oleha (Castoral).  Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Castoral and Marie Jirinec (Castoral); her.  She was the third of six children.  She had five sisters named Bertha, Antonia, Emily, Louise and Rose.
