Denny was born on November 14th, 1944.  Denny's father was Walter Henry Hansen and his mother was Mary Lydia Crammer (Hansen).  His paternal grandparents were Louis Hansen and Alma Bergstrom (Hansen); his maternal grandparents were  Wiliam H Crammer Jr and  Ella Lane (Crammer).  He is the youngest of three children.  He has two sisters named Gale and Sharon .
