Rhaegar's father was Aerys II Targaryen “The Mad King” and his mother was Rhaella Targaryen.  His paternal grandparents were Jaehaerys II Targaryen and Shaera Targaryen; his maternal grandparents were Jaehaerys II Targaryen and Shaera Targaryen. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Daeron, Aegon, Jaehaerys, Viserys, Shaena and Daenerys.


Rhaegar's first family with Elia Martell

‌Rhaegar and Elia were married.  They had a son and a daughter, named Aegon and Rhaenys.
