  • Wall of Names, 16, calls her Marie-Josèphe PRÉJEAN.  Since the 3 censuses cited--Cabanoce 1766, 1769, & Atakapas 1777--indicate different birth years (c1740, c1736, & c1737), the third date will be used here.  See Bourgeois, Cabanocey, 164, 174; De Ville, Southwest LA Families, 1777, 15.
