William Alfonzo Wagner

William was born in 1908 in Louisiana, USA. William's father was John Hugh Wagner and his mother was Ann (Bert) Gerthrude Hooper. His paternal grandparents were William Barlow Wagner and Esaphania Spell; his maternal grandparents were Alphonse D. Hooper and Annie Gertrude Stanberry. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Itland, David, Robert, Cecelia and Gertrude. He was the second oldest of the six children.
