William Pounds

William was born on February 7th, 1838 in Perry, Alabama, USA. William's father was Reuben Pounds and his mother was Elizabeth Catherine Smith. His paternal grandparents were John Pounds and Louvina Rorie. He had three brothers and three sisters, named John, Davis, Benjamin, Mary, Mary and Nancy. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 22 in 1860.
