John Columbus Mills

John was born in 1766 in Tyron, Columbus Co, NC. John's father was William Mills and his mother was Eleanor (Nelly) Morris. His paternal grandparents were Col Ambrose Mills and Mourning Stone; his maternal grandparents were William Morris and Esther Phalby. He had a brother and a sister, named Jesse and Milly.
