Lucia (Lucy) Marcantel

Lucia, known as Lucy, was born on October 30th, 1858 in Imperial Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana, USA. Lucy's father was Leon Marcantel and her mother was Denise Langley. Her paternal grandparents were Antoine Marcantel and Marie Celeste Miller; her maternal grandparents were Hilaire Eli Langley and Gertrude M. Casanueva. She had a brother and eight sisters, named John, Ordalie, Elise, Denise, Sarah, Emilia, Olivia, Leonor and Mary. She was the oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 48 on September 28th, 1907 in Fenton, Jeff Davis Parish, Louisiana, USA.
