Pierre was born in 1628 in Cap de Sable, Acadia, Nova Scotia.  Pierre's father was Pierre Le Jeune I (dit Briard) and his mother was Unknown Mi'kmaq Indian. He had two sisters named Edmee and Catherine.  He was the second oldest of the three children.
