Joannes Baptista was born on June 26th, 1756.  Joannes Baptista's father was Guillelmus Algoet and his mother was Maria Vandenhecke. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Bartholomeus, Adrianus, Marie Theresia, Maria Joanna Catharina and Josephina Petronella.  He was the youngest of the six children.  He died at the age of 40 on July 24th, 1796.
