Alfons Rene was born on January 31st, 1897.  Alfons Rene's father was Constantius Emilius Algoet and his mother was Marie Louise Demeulemeester.  His paternal grandparents were Lucas Bernard Algoet and Melanie Blanckaert. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Joseph Maurice, Maurice Charles, Achille Richard, Margareta Clara, Magdalena Julia, Maxima Celina Marie, Irma Celina and Marie Aloisia.  He died at the age of 1 on April 3rd, 1898.
