Mabel's father was Ned Robinson and her mother was Rebecca Deas (Robinson) (Twin to Isiah (8 children).  Her maternal grandparents were August Deas and Lydia  Perry   (Deas). She had three brothers and four sisters, named Sonny, George Lee, John, Bertha, Eloise, Gracie and Phyillis.
