Hedwige of Saxony 
Hedwige of Saxony was born in 0910. Hedwige of Saxony's father was King Henry I the Fowler og Germany and her mother was Matilda of Ringelheim. Her paternal grandparents were dux Otto and <Unknown>; her maternal grandparents were Theudebert, duke of Saxony and <Unknown>. She died at the age of 55 on May 10th, 0965.General Notes
Hedwige of Saxony (c910-May 10, 965) was daughter, sister, and mother of kings. She was the daughter of Henry I the Fowler, and his wife Matilda of Ringelheim. After her brother Otto the Great came to power, an alliance and marriage was arranged with Hugh the Great in 936. Her son, Hugh Capet, was crowned King of France in 987.
‌Hedwige of Saxony and Hugh the Great (Duke of the Franks) were married. They had a son named King Hugh.
