m. (2) Elizabeth Eckersen, widow of Aaron Remsen, b. Apr. 8, 1756, d. June 26, 1833
Known as Judge Serven. He was a Justic of the Peace in Rockland County, Kakiat from 1794-1819 and also simultaneoouly with Judges Seffern and Perry, one of the Judges od the Court of Common Pleas for a long period. He was widely reputed for personal character and legal ability and was very highly respected throughout his circuit. He had six children a;; by his first wife and they were all baptised at Clarkstown.
He held various positions in the town government including supervisor and town clerk for many years.
