Rhoda was born in 1841 in Lee, Rockingham, New Hampshire.  Rhoda's father was Nathaniel Goodrich Davis and her mother was Elizabeth Chesley Jones.  Her paternal grandparents were David Davis and Rhoda Chapman. She had a sister named Susan.  She was the older of the two children.  She died at the age of 74 on April 28th, 1915 in Lee, Rockingham, New Hampshire.
