Maren was born in Hindsholm, Norway.  Maren's father was Jakob Hansen Hindsholm and her mother was Elisabeth Lauritzdtr Lind.  Her paternal grandfather was Hans Hindsholm and her paternal grandmother is <Unknown>; her maternal grandparents were Lauritz Christensdtr Lind and Karen Hansdtr Tønsberg  (Baad).  She died in Stromstad, Norway.
