The Mild, The Gentle's father was King Eystein Halfdanssen and his mother was Hild Eiriksstr. His paternal grandparents were King Halfdan (White Legs) Olavsen Hvitbeinn and Aase Eysteinsddtr; his maternal grandfather was King Eirik Agnarsen and his maternal grandmother is <Unknown>.General Notes
King of Vestfold about 780. He was also called the "Bad Entertainer" as he did not feed his men well. He married Liv, daughter of King Dag of Vestmare and lived at the Holte farm. He became ill and died in his bed. They had at least two sons; Oystein and Gudrod.
