Samuel Bailey 
Samuel's father was James Bailey and his mother was Hannah Wood. His paternal grandparents were John Bailey and Mary Mighill. He had two brothers named Joseph and James. He died on February 20th, 1705.General Notes
He married first, Mary Rolf, Pebruary 2, 1727-8. He moved
from Bradford to Andover, Mass., about 1735 and settled on the bank of the Merrimack river near the Tewksbury line. His
house lot now forms a part of the famous Hood stock farm. He married second, December, 1774, Dorcas Abbott, of Andover. She was born October 2, 1735 and outlived her
husband. He died January 5, 1784, of a cancer.
