Donald Smith 
Donald was born in 1893 in Upper Bayble, Stornoway, Ross-shire, Scotland. Donald's father was Murdoch (Murdo) Smith and his mother was Dolina MacLean. His paternal grandparents were Malcolm Smith and Christianna MacLeod. He had a brother and five sisters, named Malcolm, Catherine, Ann, Effie, Etta and Christina. He was the third youngest of the seven children. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Donald, John, John, Mary and Ann. He died at the age of 26 on January 29th, 1919 in Egypt, Natal, South Africa.General Notes
