Normand Murray

Normand was born in 1838 in North Dell, Barvas, Isle of Lewis, Scotland and his baptism took place there on December 25th, 1838.¹   Normand's father was Finlay Murray and his mother was Margaret Morrison.  His paternal grandparents were Donald Murray and Ann Morrison. He had three brothers and two sisters, named John, Donald, Angus, Margaret and Mary.  He was the second youngest of the six children.
