John MacIver

John was born in 1855 in 45 Lower Bayble, Ross-shire, Scotland. John's father was Donald MacIver and his mother was Christina Smith. His maternal grandparents were Malcolm Smith and Christianna MacLeod. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Donald, Peter, Angus, Margaret, Catherine, Christina, Jessie and Janet. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 51 in 1906 in Manitoba, Canada.
