Martha was born in October 1780 in Mugginton,Derby,England and her baptism took place there on October 18th, 1780.1 Martha's father was Exuperius Haynes and her mother was Dorothy Herod. She had three brothers named Henry, Joseph and Thomas. She was the oldest of the four children.
