Murdo Campbell 
Murdo was born on August 22nd, 1872 in Aird, Stornoway, Ross-shire, Scotland. Murdo's father was Malcolm Campbell and his mother was Margaret Smith. His maternal grandparents were Malcolm Smith and Christianna MacLeod. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Donald, Norman, John, Catherine, Margaret, Ann, Mary and Margaret. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 74 on August 18th, 1947 in Aird, Stornoway, Ross-shire, Scotland.Death Notes
Aignish Cemetery record, Aignish, Stornoway, Isle of Lewis, Ross, Scotland, p 14, D-83, Erected by Murdo Campbell and family im memory of a loving wife and mother Mary MacLeod who died at 12 Aird, 22 April 1923 aged 54 years and his son Kenneth Campbell died 4 Oct 1991 aged 82 years. "Gus am bris an la agus teich n'sgailean". In loving memory of our dear parents father Murdo Campbell died 18 August 1947, mother Christina Ann Campbell 30 July 1970.
