Donald Campbell

Donald was born in 1834 in Barvas, Ross & Cromarty, Scotland and his baptism took place on July 18th, 1839 in North Dell, Barvas, Isle of Lewis, Scotland.¹   Donald's father was Malcolm Campbell and his mother was Ann Maciver. He had two sisters named Effy and Mary.  He was the youngest of the three children. He had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named John, Angus, Roderick, Alexander, Catherine, Christina and Annie.  He died at the age of 77 on January 2nd, 1911 in Maine, USA.  He was buried in Stornoway, Estrie Region, Quebec, Canada.
