Mary was born in 1868.  Mary's father was Michael Brew and her mother was Mary Murphy.  Her paternal grandfather was Jeremiah and her paternal grandmother is <Unknown>. She had a brother and a sister, named Michael and Ellen .  She was the youngest of the three children.  She died  due to Child Birth Shock at the age of 28 on January 10th, 1896 in Dunedin NZ.¹
