Mary was born in 1868 in Cork, Ireland.  Mary's father was Michael Brew and her mother was Mary Murphy.  Her paternal grandfather was Jeremiah Brew and her paternal grandmother is <Unknown>. She had a brother and a sister, named Michael and Ellen .  She was the youngest of the three children.  She died  due to Child Birth Shock at the age of 28 on January 10th, 1896 in Dunedin NZ.  She was buried in January 1896 in Dunedin, New Zealand.^1 2
