John Alexander

John was born on May 30th, 1714 in Kirkliston, West Lothian, Scotland.  John's father was James Alexander and his mother was Margaret Scott. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Walter, Alexander, Janet and Helen.  He was the second oldest of the five children.
