Matthew Wamsley 
Matthew was born in December 1769 in Shinnaton, Augusta, Virginia, United States. Matthew's father was John Wamsley Jr. and his mother was Judith Dorcus. His paternal grandparents were John Wamsley Sr. and Abigail Smith; his maternal grandfather is Matthew Dorcus. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named William, David, Samuel, John, James, Joseph, Samuel, Thomas, Elizabeth, Dorcas and Mary. He died at the age of 82 on December 3rd, 1851 in Randolph, West Virginia, United States.-
