Decon Edward II was born on February 13th, 1621 in Barkhamstead, Hertfordshire, England, and his baptism took place on October 26th, 1622 in Stanstead, Suffolk, , England.1   Decon Edward II's father was DEACON EDMUND Sr. Rice and his mother was THOMASINE Frost.  His paternal grandparents were HENRY Thomas Rice and ELIZABETH Frost; his maternal grandparents were EDWARD Frost and THOMASINE Belgrave. He had ten brothers and two sisters, named Richard, Henry, THOMAS, Matthew, Daniel, Edmund, Joseph, Jacob, Benjamin, James, Mary and Lydia.  He was the fourth oldest of the thirteen children. He had a half-sister named Ruth.  He died at the age of 91 on August 15th, 1712 in Marlborough, Middlesex, Massachusetts, Colony.2

‌Decon Edward II and Agnes were married in a religious ceremony in 1647 in Sudbury, Middlesex, Massachusetts, Colony.  They had six sons and five daughters, named John, Deacon Edmund III, Daniel, Caleb, Jacob, Benjamin, Lydia, Lydia, Anna, Dorcas and Abigail.
