Isaac was born on May 8th, 1768 in Bridport, Dorset, , England. Isaac's father was JOHN Powell and his mother was SARAH Eggerton. His paternal grandparents were WILLIAM Powell and HANNAH Peram. He had eight brothers and nine sisters, named JOSEPH, Samuel, Robert, John, William, Mathew, Jonas, George, Jane, Phebe, Catherine, Hannah, Martha, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Sarah and Ann. He had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Samuel, Robert, William, Mathew, Hannah, Martha and Sarah. He died at the age of 67 in July 1835.-
