JOSEPH was born on September 18th, 1701 in New Haven, New Haven, Connecticut, Colony.1   JOSEPH's father was STEPHEN Perkins and his mother was ELIZABETH Ford.  His paternal grandparents were JOHN Perkins and MARY Perkins; his maternal grandparents were SAMUEL Ford and ELIZABETH Hopkins. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Stephen, Timothy, Elizabeth, Lydia, Thankful, Mary, Sybil and Anna. He had two half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Stephen, Elisha, Tabitha, Kersina Happock, Annah, Sybil and Content.  He died at the age of 75 in 1776 in Wilkes, North Carolina, Colony.2

‌JOSEPH and PHEBE were married in a religious ceremony on February 23rd, 1729 in New Haven, New Haven, Connecticut, United States.1   They had six sons and seven daughters, named Joseph, Timothy, luther, Alexander, Elisha, Abel, Phebe, CAROLINE Tryphena, Lydia, Amy, Mariam, Charity and Abial.
