John was born in 1765 in Buckingham, Buckingham, Virginia, United States. John's father was JAMES Kidd and his mother was Morning Mary Parish. His paternal grandparents were DIRELL Kidd and MARY Sorrow. He had six brothers and nine sisters, named Benjamin, James K, Moses, John, Zachariah, Joseph, Dicea, Molley, Sally, Tabitha, Polly, Sally, Nancy, Jane and Lucy. He had fourteen half-brothers and two half-sisters, named John, William, James Henry, Joseph, JOHN, Zachariah, Jesse, George, Absalom, Abraham, Pleasant, Anderson R, James Henry, John W, Elizabeth and Mary Antinette. He died at the age of 44 in 1809.-
